ABOUT OUR FURNITURE

All of our furniture is authentic antique or vintage furniture. Most pieces are from the Victorian and Edwardian era (1837-1919). As is to be expected each piece comes with a history meaning it is likely to have bumps and marks consistent with many years of use. We love the character that comes with age and source pieces we feel have that little special something.

Our painted furniture is of course recently done and made to look old and aged in keeping with our love of rustic country style. Our painting style and colour choice is designed to match the age and character of the piece of furniture being restored. Quite often we source pieces which we feel would benefit greatly from being painted. These pieces are often otherwise overlooked but with some sympathetic restoration will be fit for another hundred years of use! Furniture with numerous layers of gloss paint or dark varnish can look completely different after being stripped or painted.

RETURNS

We offer a 14 day return policy on new items providing that proof of purchase is available and that the item is returned is the same condition as when purchased. Antique and vintage items are non-refundable unless structurally faulty. Remember that these items are often delicate and therefore care must be taken to keep them in good condition. Marks, scratches and any signs of general wear and tear are to be expected with rustic antique items.

Items that are restored to specification are non-returnable unless faulty. If purchasing without viewing in person it is your responsibility to check measurements and condition beforehand. Please view all photos carefully to assess the item fully or request extra photos in order to make an informed purchase.

Any costs incurred in returning an item are the responsibility of the customer. Please contact us prior to return to ensure we can accept it.
